Aaron Goes to SNOW School!

Aaron was chosen to be a 4th grade NASA Specialist - this is a really cool group of kids who get to learn more scince related things than are normally taught in class. They spent Friday up at a local ski resort at their Nordic Snow School. Aaron had never been to Bogus Basin before! It was a long bus ride and he said the road was kind of scary at times! Once there, they went snow shoeing - hard work but fun and learned all kinds of things about snow, water, mountain animals and more! He took some fun pictures to share with you - enjoy!

Carberry Intermmediate School Choir

I took the afternoon off Thursday and traveled with the Carberry Choir to two assisted living facilities and a rehab/nursing center in our town. The choir consists of 4th, 5th and 6th grade boys and girls. I tell you - they are GOOD - they practice about 45 minutes two mornings a week and sound like they have been singing together forever! They sang five songs at each facility - clogging is very big here in our town and our cloggers have won MANY competitions - so it was a bonus that some choir members could clog for residents as well. The children were all very well behaved and handed out candy and valentines to the residents after each performance. . .

Meeting Our Great Niece

Elizabeth was born on January 7th, 2009. We finally got to meet her today! Mom and I had SO much fun shopping for baby GIRL things for a change! We finally had to FORCE outselves out of the infant section of the store! Such a tiny baby - oh my! But she was so bright eyed and calm through all of the goings on and even tolerated all of the cameras snapping photos of her!
