Owwwwww . . .

Aaron spent the night out at a friends last week-end. They had a lot of fun riding dirt bikes. Nervous Nellie mom has always said "You'd get hurt on a motorcylce!" His answer has always been "Well, I could fall off my pony and get hurt too". Well, when I picked him up Sunday, the first thing he did was pull up his shirt and show me his "owie". Seems he was trying to avoid running into a little brother and "fell over". As he has spent the week moaning and groaning about his chest and his wrist which he is sure he sprained,I have had several opportunities to say "I told you so". He is more than ready to go back and get on that dirt bike again - aren't you supposed to get right back on when you fall off?

Spring 2009 Rec. Dist. Soccer

Aaron spent the month of April playing soccer. He has been playing since he was four years old and it all really came together this year - great passing - he scored a couple of goals and came VERY close on alot more. Their team was the Kicking and Screaming Bombers and their coach was an awesome young lady who is a senior in high school and took time out of her busy schedule to work with and teach them - thanks Jillian!

Carberry Discovery Club Zoo Trip

As the school year winds down, the Discovery Club hits the zoo at Boise! The kids worked hard selling raffle tickets to raise money for the trip. We got to the zoo before opening and got to visit the zoo kitchen as well as several other fun, informational learning stations and then had time to visit the animals on our own before the general public was adimitted. Since it was feeding time, the animals were all out and about and very active. The weather was gorgeous and we had a great time!
